There's a rumor on scout that Leslie is on the verge of committing to UNC, anybody know if this rumor has any legs.

there isn't much difference between a top 30 and top 50 kid.... people seem to think there is, but there isn't.

IF players are within 25 or 30 spots in "rankings", you can pretty much call it even.

Leslie should be in the top 10-15 in the nation by the time his summer/senior year is complete. Quite confident in that. I think he's one of the better/best ones in the 2010 class, hands down.

I'm not sure he'll get that high.... He's good, but there are others that are pretty good too. Also, he's not playing for D1 sports any longer, which might hurt his ability to get seen.

He never really played for D-1, although he did play as a fill in for some tournaments... such as the one you went to in virginia (boo-williams?), I believe.

I've seen CJ Leslie play, i've talked to a few division one scouts and coaches, and if he's not a top 20 prospect then I don't know who is.

Only thing CJ needs to work on is not taking plays off... when he does that, he's scary good on both ends of the courts.

I'd really like to add him to Uk's class no matter where he's ranked. Leslie, barton, Smith, Knight, Payne

Well, you didn't say top 20.... you said top 10.

My point is that there are 10 players in that class I can't see him passing by in the rankings, which means I don't think he'll be a top 10 kid.

He's very good, however.

Sorry for the slip in says 20 instead of 10... I still stand by top 10... We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Well, Scout has him higher than ANYONE and they only have him at 12.

The guys that even scout has above him don't show much, if any, chance of falling.... and there are some newcombers to the rankings that scout was cautious on that probably will jump CJ in the final polls.....

I've seen this happen for over a decade of scouting.... CJ is a good player and I'd love to have him, but I don't see him making any top 10 rankings....
